Resident Evil Village will be available May 7 for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Players only get the choice of three per orb, though there is no limit to how many abilities one can have at a time, and stacking multiple of the same ability increases its effectiveness. Yellow orbs mainly serve to keep the time limit going, while blue orbs give players extra abilities, such as increased knife damage or a health increase. Throughout the stages, Resident Evil Village players will also frequently come across blue and yellow orbs. The final score will be what determines the rank, with better prizes being given for high ranks. Touching the goal advances players to the next area, with any leftover money or time being counted towards the final score. After the target number of enemies is defeated, a goal will appear. Once done, players are dropped in the Village and tasked with defeating a certain number of enemies within the time limit. Instead, players start in the Duke's shop with the opportunity to buy any weapons or equipment. Unfortunately, there aren't any co-op features in Resident Evil Village's Mercenaries mode. Following that, players can easily access the mode by going to bonuses, then selecting The Mercenaries. Starting from the main menu, players should then navigate to bonuses, then enter the bonus content shop to unlock the mode. Players may also need to complete a few challenges first, as the mode costs 10 CP. First, players will need to complete the Resident Evil Village story campaign, which gives access to the Extra Content Shop. Mercenaries mode isn't available for players to jump in right away.
